Tombstone, o que é isso?


Quando você deleta um objeto no Active Directory ele deixa de aparecer na interface porém não desaparece naquele exato momento do diretório do AD. Ao invés de deletar este objeto o Active Directory apenas muda o atributo IsDeleted para TRUE e remove as marcações feitas neste objeto, movendo o objeto para um contêiner especial no contexto do objeto de nomeação (NC) chamado CN = Deleted Objects.

    Este objeto que foi deletado agora passa a se chamar “Tombstone” fica invisível para o AD.

    Agora você me pergunta o por quê o Active Directory mantém o Tombstone? Por quê ele não é deletado totalmente?

    Simplesmente porquê o AD fará a replicação entre os outros DC`s do ambiente, e assegurará de que o Tombstone será replicado também mostrando.
